- We have 4 biological children, Lukas, Allyson, Nakita and Paje, and live in Minnesota. We started our adoption journey in January 2007 when we felt God calling us to open our hearts and our home to a little boy who did not have a home and a family. We accepted our referral for Tarun in October 2007,received our CARA clearance in January 2008, and were granted guardianship in May. Tarun is a little boy who lives in an orphange in the city of Chandigarh in India. He will be 3 years old on August 4th. We are very excited to make Tarun a part of our family.

I am sooooo glad Tarun's passport has arrived! God is good!!!!

How amazing is God ! Thinking of you all and holding my breath waiting for word that you are holding your son. What a beautiful picture that will be. Treasure this time, as you will have memories you will keep for a life time. May God keep you all in his safety and bless you as you travel to bring home your beautiful baby boy.

Allyson was not able to get one from grandma Sandy's computer so they called and asked us to post. Glad to hear you got there safely. We have been thinking of you lots throughout the day. Hope you are at least trying to sleep by now. Praying for all of you!

Hey guys!
Having trouble posting, but here's my message from earlier...Glad to hear you've landed safely!!!!
Just finished lunch here at camp. Sam and Alex are out playing a game of softball --Alex just got a really nice hit and Chris and I are ready to head out to the kids' carnival --don't know where Nate is (on his bike somewhere).
Wanted to let you know we're thinking of you. You must be sleeping after your long flight. I hope it went well and was smooth.
What do you think of India????? I can't wait to hear.
Well, better run. It's life as usual here while you are enjoying your adventure.
Oooooohhh! Only a few more days 'til you meet your baby boy. Can you believe it???? We're praying for you and Terun that all goes well and he bonds with you quickly. Be patient. It'll come.

The long plane ride is over! I'm sure Shekar & Irene were a very welcome sight. Hope you are getting lots of good sleep right now. I can't imagine how excited you are and how surreal it must seem.
