Here we are! Finally we hold our precious little boy in our arms!! Our hearts are rejoicing and praising God! Thank you all so much for your prayers and messages. They mean so much to us.
We had just such a wonderful day at Tarun's orphanage. We saw many precious children and got lots of video tape. Amy has two hands full of henna, both front and back. Tarun is SO sweet and snuggly! He started to fuss just a tad when we went to leave, but Daddy snuggled him in(because mommy's hands still had wet henna on them) and he was just fine. We've even gotten some smiles and a few giggles! We have truely been blessed! Tomorrow morning we head back to Dehli to process his visa. We will try to keep you posted.
Love and miss you all!
Sorry! It seems we have a very slow internet connection so am not able to post as many pictures as I wanted too. I guess that will have to work for now and we'll have to try agian in couple days when we get to Agra.

Amy and Scott,
The girls just saw the picture of you and their precious baby brother. Everyone is sooo excited about it!!! The kids had a great time at the waterpark today. Grandma was nice enough to watch Addy and Bay too. We caught up on laundry and checked the pool.
God bless you as you as you soak in all of the joy!
The girls say "WE LOVE YOU!"
Shani
Ewests,
Gagan: I felt so cool when I saw the picture and I can't wait to see Tarun again! Have a good trip coming back. I remember I felt so happy to become a Douglas family member. Did you give them the letters? What did they say about the letters? We are getting lots of pledges for Marathon for Missions!
Simran: When I saw the picture, it brought back memories of the orphanage, this was our second orphanage. How did you feel when you first held Tarun? It was a little scary when I first met Dad, Lana, and Kari. I remember getting our visas at the embassy. I hope you get Tarun's visa easy. Have a good time in India. Tell Rajeev "Hi" for us, and we can't wait to see him soon.
Mark: Many emotions swelled up in my chest when I saw the picture. It finally happened. I wanted to be there to hold all the children again. Can't wait to hold Tarun again. The Twins are 2.5 games back of the w/sox and begin a 4 gm. home stand tonight. Congratulations Guys!!!
Ruth: Tarun is beautiful!! I am so excited for you guys. We can't wait to see him is person after he arrives in minnesota. Celebration time! Love and Prayers
And there he is...coming into mommy's arms. Praise the Lord he is snuggling, and giggling! The bonding has begun, and God is blessing.
Continuing in prayer for all of you.
Let's see. This should soon be day 2 for you. How did your night go? Nicko woke up a few times his first night, but we were able to quickly soothe him. I hope the same for you.
I'm having fun imagining what you are doing now. With Scott and Lukas around, I'm sure Tarun can't help but giggle :). I hope that continues.
I'm a little sad we won't hear from you for a few days --patience is not one of my virtues. But please remember you're covered by our prayers.
Talked to my mom today. Let her know we'd be kickin' 'em out early on Tuesday so we could get to the airport. She was OK with it ;). Yippee!!!!
So, until the next post, take care, have fun, be patient, give tons of hugs and kisses and continue to tell Tarun you love him. I'm sure you're doing that already, but I' m feeling "motherly" :).
See you all soon!
Hi Allyson, Nakita and Paje. Your brother is BEAUTIFUL!!! Keep having fun with your "fake families" --that's what our boys called them :).
Off to bed,
Nikkie and men
yay!tears streaming down here- joy! God is great. Jasmine has been praying specifically for the orphans the last few weeks- we can't wait to see Tarun and his family come back soon. Thanks for taking the time to blog. We know how slow the connections can be!
Kim
Just checkin' in hoping there's a new posting.
How was your day? I hope you all did well and that Tarun is still happily adjusting.
We're still praying here.
Nikkie and men
Praying that your day was very sweet with your little guy...your night too!!! I'm sure Lukas provides great entertainment for him. The girls are doing wonderful..as I write they are running through the house with screams and laughter. They made a fort and helped me pull peas out of pods, they all thought it was fun to see who could find the most peas inside. The girls love praying for Tarun. We always pray that he sleeps well! Bless you!
Scott, Amy & family
This is so awesome. We are so happy & excited for you. Praise God! We can't wait to meet Tarun. So Lucas has a brother! Praying that the rest of your journey will go smoothly
SOOOOOO Excited to see Tarun is safe and healthy and in your arms. Cannot wait until I get to squeeze him myself. Praise God for His work in unfolding the destiny He has planned for this little guy. Love to you all! Ewest girls - see you in a few days!
Good Morning to all of you,
I am on my way to bed knowing you are starting your day. A new day with your beautiful son. We are praying for you and trusting God to give all of you sweet rest, sweet refreshment and a wonderful time of bonding.
To the Ewests girls, glad you are having so much fun!!!
We love you all,
The Wittes
I hope you are having a wonderful time, its so good to see Tarun in your arms, I can't even imagine the joy it must bring to have him at last. We are so greatful that things are going well, (follow up to Mark's post, the twins have won the first 2 games against Chicago so they are only 1/2 a game back)
This morning as Nolan and I were traveling he said, "Mom, go faster...catch up to that truck." I told him mommy probably shouldn't go any faster than she was already going! To which he replied, "But, mom, is that Scott & Amy?" I had to smile. It did look a bit like your truck from the back. Nolan has been missing his bike rides and is looking forward to meeting Tarun!
Love you and miss you, Chris
Hi Ewest Family!
Wow, what an experience for your whole family! We're happy to hear everything is going well and pray for it to continue. We look forward to meeting Tarun when you are home.
Take Care!
The Johnsons
Ohhhhh....the suspense in not hearing from you! I'm sure you are wonderful, can't wait for updates. Bayley and Paje have found two little frogs and made quite an elaborate home for them. That has been the main focus of the day, as you can imagine. They play so awesome together. It has been fun to spend all this time with the girls. They are very special..I'm sure you know! We love you! Shani
Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you all. Can't wait to hear how things are going and see more pictures. I know you will have so much to tell everyone, and I know you are having such a wonderful time with Tarun. I smile every time I think about it. You all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Lucy
I'm with Shani. I keep checking for postings even though you told us there would be none for awhile. Surely it's been a few days by now...
How are things going? I pray all is well and that you continue to get lots of snuggle time in. Have you gone to the Taj yet?
Well, I'd better run. We're leaving for VBS soon. Hope you slept well.
Still praying and blog stalking,
Nikkie and men
I know that this is hectic couple of days for you as you get all of the paper work done and doctors appointment complete. We are praying for you and praying that Taron is bonding to you and trusting you.
Scott, Amy , Lukas & Tarun,
I was great to see the picture of Amy picking up Tarun. I could see that someone was taping your first meeting. I can't even begin to imagine all the emotions you must have felt. How is Tarun doing in his surrondings? Allyson went with Sydney & Mason to my friends house today instead of going with nakita & Paje. She got Dairy Queen for all of the kids & Allyson met my friends newly adopted children & I guess the kids just adored all the attention they got from the 2 little mothers (Sydney & Allyson). We tried to go for a walk tonight by the lake but the mosquitos were bad so we cut it short. We stopped over to see Nakita & Paje on monday to drop off some clothes & Nakita gave Sydney & I big hugs when we left & I almost cried. I'll try checking again later to see if you have any more pictures.
Love you all, Michelle
Dear Father,
As we anxiously await hearing from Scott, Amy, and Lukas you see and know every detail that is going on, thank you God that you are all powerful, everywhere and even when we are dying to hear from our dear friends, you are in control, thank you for that promise we have in you!!
In your Son's name we pray, Amen.
We love you guys and can't wait to hear from you. Praying for lots of sweet bonding times!!!

God is traveling with you all and I am content knowing that as I am off to bed. We love you guys so much. Amy- give everybody one of your awesome hugs for me, and we will see you very soon.
Kim
Scott, Amy, Lukas, and girls,
I am so happy for you! Can't wait to see you all (and the videos).Give Tarun a big hug from 'uncle' Tony.
Aloha!
Funny story... Paje found Forest's whoopie cushion today and got a huge kick out of using it ALOT and she would giggle every time someone would act surprised. At bedtime we were talking about Tarun and Paje said if I used the whoopie cushion by him he would probably cry "cuz maybe he's never heard a loud fart before. I have never seen Nakita laugh so hard! Hugs. Shani
