Tarun's Visa was completed today and he's set to come home! The time at the embassy went very quickly for which we are very thankful. We are enjoying Rajeev's hospitality at his beautiful home! As you can see in the pictures, Tarun enjoyed his first experience of swimming. He quickly learned to splash but we weren't quick enough to get it on camera. The monkey that you see was just outside our hotel window. Last night Tarun picked up the remote, pointed it at the TV, and started changing the channel while Lukas was watching it. Then he looked at us and grinned. What a smart little guy! Lukas was very happy to find a Dr. Pepper at the embassy while we were waiting so we had to take his picture with it.
I guess that's all I can think of to say for now. We sure love and miss you all and thanks again for all the posts. Except I can't help but wondering, Where is Laura, my blog stalker friend?
Allyson, Nakita and Paje, This momma's missin' her baby girls very, VERY much and looking forward to being home with you again. I know you'll have fun with Auntie Dawn as I believe she is picking you up today. Don't forget we're sending hugs across the world to you!
Hey from Scott:
I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the prayers for Tarun's adjustment. It was obvious that many people were praying specifically for that. I can't imagine it going any better! All the Twins updates are much appreciated because I haven't been able to find them in any of the newspapers here?!? For my girls, I've been storing up many hugs and kisses for you and am looking forward to being home with you again!

Hi Mom, Dad, Lukas, Tarun! From Nakita
Good work Team Ewest!!
Nice to see that you avoided a shake down at the US Embassy like I was subjected to (I can only hope my pain was your gain) :). The process of adoption is amazing when you think of all the paper work, and more paper work, investment of time and money, the layers of bureaucracy and did I mention paper work. But when you see a little boy who was an orphan giggling in his new mommy laps or teasing the "big brother" and I know you are already thinking...IT IS WORTH IT. I am convinced that if you have been a part of a human adoption, when you ponder what it means to be a child of God...ONE IS OVERWHELMED at what God went through to give us that privilege of being a part of God's family. Thanks for living it out in High Definition :) Looking forward to seeing the newest member of the Ewest fam very soon. Today is Akshya's 5th B-day and in just a few days Tarun's--HOW COOL IS THAT.
MUCH LOVE, Gene
How wonderful it is to see how much fun Tarun is having with you all. It really is quite amazing at how well he is adjusting... and how smart he is. I will continue praying for your safe return. Thanks for sharing the pictures. God's blessings are really coming through. I am so happy for you all. Can't wait to hear more details once you get home. Enjoy the rest of your trip. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Scott, Amy, Lukas, Tarun, and girls,
We are so happy for the Ewest family. God is so good, all the time!!!! As we look across the street and see a huge tree in our neighbors yard uprooted from the storm yesterday I can't help but be reminded of the power of our God. His power is beyond what we can think or imagine. The incredible thought of before time began Tarun was to be in the Ewest home. A family willing to hear and obey God's call, Thanks again guys!!
Tarun looks like he is adjusting wonderfully!! He is loving his new family.
Amy, Laura says to be sure and say hi. I have been keeping her current each day with all the blogs as her internet is down. She said to be sure and let you know she is praying for you daily and she was able to see the initial pictures of Tarun and lots of tears flowed. Tell them I am so happy and can't wait to hug that little guy. She is off to CM convention today and will be back Sun. eve.
We send our love and we will be praying for a safe trip home. A few more days, enjoy the last few days in India.
See you soon,
The Wittes
Praise the Lord all went so quick and well. We really enjoy the pictures and seeing him so happy. It makes us feel like we are getting acquainted with Tarun seeing him with you three.

What a great thing God has done in your, and little Tarun's lives!I'm extra happy for Lucas, who now has a brother to even the odds a little! :) Come home soon so we can all share the love! Big C.
Grandma Sandy asked me to post a message for her and Galen. They are praying for you and so excited to see the new pictures. When you get home she could use some training on her google user account!
Hey All!
Just checkin' in. We love all of the pics. We're not doing much here, still cleaning to get ready for my parents to arrive. My house was a complete pit after being gone so much this month so it's nice to be getting it clean.
Hope all is well with you. You should be getting ready to fly home soon. Enjoy the rest of your stay. We'll be praying that your flight and everything goes well. Hope you can sleep, but you'll probably be too excited to do so.
Take care. We're still praying you through!

It was great to see postings 2 days in row & all the pictures! We saw them right away, I just haven't had a chance to write until now. Tarun looks like he is doing well & having fun with you all. Grandma Sandy offered to stay with the girls thursday night until Dawn got there. The girls weren't sure if they wanted to do that or stay here another night. But they were missing home & we decided it would be nice for them & then Dawn wouldn't have to pick them up. So they stayed thursday night & we ordered pizza for supper & then had ice cream, about 7 pm Sandy & I took them home. They were so excited to be home! Nakita & Mason bonded the time she was here with us, they played together so well & the two of them would just sit giggle. Allyson & Paje got tired of him! It was fun having them here.
We will see you when you get home! Michelle
Dear Scott, Amy and Lukas, It is so fun to see the pictures of Tarun. He is soooo beautiful. He looks so safe and content, I know that he will fit right in to your family. Your family will seem more complete now and you will wonder how you lived without him. I can't wait to see him!! Gagan and Simran will have to see if they remember some Hindi to say to him.
We had a lot of storms that went thought here on Thursday. Our power was out from Thursday AM until Friday at about noon. Also, there was a plane that went down in Medford killing eight people. It is good to have the power back and the computer working.
Love you guys. Ruth
